Stayed at this great hotel for 3 nights after a few nights in South Goa. Made full use of the facilities - the rooftop pool is lovely and very quiet, great views and the staff are very friendly - we checked in early without a fee and check out is midday which is much better than the normal 10am/11am. Although only a few sunbeds at the pool, they were available every day when we visited in the afternoon. The gym is also one of the most well equipped hotel gyms we’ve stayed in. We didn’t try the food at the hotel, preferring to explore outside, but it looked very good. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby e.g. Fisherman’s Wharf over the road with Goan and international food. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, room spacious and very clean, cleaned daily, shower etc supplies replaced every day. Would definitely recommend this hotel - an oasis of calm within busy Panaji!

The Vivanta Goa Panaji is an excellent hotel. My wife and I travelled from the US to visit in Goa. The hotel has an excellent location near the Campal Gardens and is a very walkable location. We walked to Fontainhas and into the city area several times. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel provided plenty of bottled water, more than we could use. The pool area on the rooftop is a great place to cool off and relax after touring, and the food/drink selections and service were very good. Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which I HIGHLY recommend. There was a very large selection of food, including western /continental, Chinese and Indian. There must be over 30 things to choose from, including whatever type of eggs you could think of, waffles, pancakes, dosas, etc. The quality was excellent, the hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We also ate at the hotel at least one evening for the buffet. It was also extremely extensive and high quality and a very reasonable price. The staff was amazing and the servers truly took an interest in making sure we were happy. They made suggestions for what to try, and if you let them know you are an adventurous eater, they will help you to experience something new and exciting to taste. The hotel is part of the Taj group, and their attention to quality and service is apparent. We will definitely stay at the Vivanta the next time we are in Goa.

Amazing hotel. Great staff. Harsha at front desk was just superb. Also the staff at breakfast buffet were splendid and served with a smile. And they are packed from 7am onwards Want to mention Dilip and Darshan for their exquisite service. The pool was rooftop and even though it got hot the pool itself was very relaxing.

In room dining took very length time than promised. And while items were not delivered in one go .. they took more than 30 minutes to deliver missing items

Nice location. Close to casinos if you are planning on going Hotel is a bit old but well kept. Can take it to a higher level with better room maintenance Gym and pool facilities are nice

Perfect location. Close to Panjim city, restaurants and casinos. Hotel is very nice. Great breakfast buffet and nice pool and gym. Staff are very professional but need to mention the great service provided by front office staff who works the night shift. Deevanshu might be his name. Appreciate the high level of service and assistance he provided.
